PEACE OF MIND – PT 1

PHILIPPIANS 4:4-7

 

STEPS TO EXPERIENCING PEACE

  1. Don’t Panic
  2.           Anxiety, worry
  3. It doesn’t help, it only hurts Mat 13:22 Luk 10:41-42

 

 

 

  1. Instead Pray
  2. Talk to God about everything that worries you! 1Pe 5:6-7 
  3. With thanksgiving 1Th 5:16-18   Act 16:25

 

 

  1. Protected by Peace!
  2. Peace that’s “out of this world!” Joh 14:27
  3. We have a “buffer zone” = Christ Jesus Joh 16:33

 

 

What is anxiety?

What are anxious about?

What should we do when we are worried/anxious?

What does prayer do?

Why is thanksgiving so important in prayer?

Do you pray often & thank God?  How often?

How would you describe the peace of God?

Do you experience His peace often?  Why not?

How does God’s peace guard us?

What are you going to do about anxiety today???
